Welcome to the home page of Village Active Performance Wear and *Whim Gift Boutique, formerly Jake's in The Village and Jake's Summit. We have made some exciting changes to serve you even better. Thanks for your patience during our transformations.

Village Active Performance Wear (formerly Jake's in The Village) is now open at the Prairie Village Shops. We've added several new lines of active and lifestyle apparel to complement the active lifestyles of our neighbors in Prairie Village. In addition to Life is good®, you'll find prAna, Soybu, Alo, Tail Tennis, Smartwool, Reefs and more. Our newest additions include Ibex and Moving Comfort.

The response to our transformation has been tremendous. Thank you for helping us reinvent ourselves to serve you better.

Jake's Summit is now *Whim-a gift boutique. Why the change? We realized we could serve Summit Fair shoppers even better by offering fun and unique merchandise to complement the Life is good® brand. We've added jewelry, personal accessories, home and garden accents, children’s gifts, greeting cards and more. Our new name reflects the playful nature of what you’ll find in our store.

*Whim still has Kansas City’s best selection of Life is good® apparel and gifts, and new Fall/Winter styles are now in stock.
